HP STORAGE SOLUTIONS
XP Storage -The HP StorageWorks XP12000 Disk Array
delivers state-of-the-art reliability and always-on availability
for enterprise mission-critical applications where downtime is not
an option. No single-point-of-failure and non-disruptive online upgrades
ensure that data is always available.
Industry-leading random and sequential performance is ideal for
database, OLTP, Oracle, SAP, and Exchange workloads. Advanced virtualization
technology provides external storage device support to enable tiered
storage up to 30 Petabytes. Flexible secure array partitioning
eases
provisioning. Array-to-array local and remote data copying enables
multi-site disaster tolerance. World-class service and support
meets your most demanding needs.
EVA Storage - HP StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA is an array
based application that utilizes a powerfully simple Graphical User
Interface to create, manage and configure remote replication on the
new EVA4000, EVA6000, EVA8000 and the current EVA3000 and EVA5000
storage arrays.
Continuous Access EVA shares an integrated management interface,
called Replication Solutions Manager (RSM), with HP StorageWorks
Business Copy offering a unique, unified replication management approach.
RSM manages all local and remote replication features across the
full EVA array storage family. With the combination of Continuous
Access's unique remote replication technologies and the unparalleled
easy to use RSM interface, enterprises can ensure their information
is protected in the event of a disaster. Furthermore, Continuous
Access EVA provides the necessary components to solve enterprise's
disaster recovery objectives in a very cost effective and easily
deployable package. Continuous Access EVA improves replication, it
also results in the ability to make remote replication 1) Less expensive
through faster, automated methods that virtually eliminate complexity
while resulting in fewer user errors. 2) Easy to deploy for accelerated
payback and 3) Less labor intensive allowing a much greater use of
valuable IT people resources.
Continuous Access EVA provides customers with the highest level
of storage data protection capabilities to meet their mission critical
disaster recovery requirements. They can achieve a competitive advantage
by combining disaster-tolerant solutions and disaster-tolerant managed
services into their planning and daily routines, ensuring data security,
availability and integrity.
MSA Storage - The HP StorageWorks Modular Smart
Array 1000 (MSA1000) is a 2 Gb Fibre Channel storage system for the
entry-level to midrange
storage area network (SAN). It is designed to reduce the complexity
and risk of SAN deployments. The powerful but easy to use management
software makes it ideal for departmental and remote location SANs.
With the addition of two more drive enclosures and the new 300GB
drives, it can control up to 42 drives allowing capacity of twelve
terabytes. All configuration, management and partitioning and licensing
software come standard with no extra charges.
HP's exclusive optional embedded 8-port SAN switches or 3-port
hubs give cost effective and space saving methods of creating a SAN
environment.
The MSA1000 supports Windows (32 & 64-bit), NetWare, and Linux
(32 & 64-bit) operating systems. It also supports Tru64 UNIX,
OpenVMS, or HP-UX operating systems. High Availability Storage Solutions (HASS)
The versatile HP 9000 storage enclosures are available as rack mounted
or stand alone versions for use with almost all HP 9000 models.
